The Larchmont Barracudas is a summer swim team associated with the Suburban Swim League of South Jersey. The team is open to children ages 5-18, offering 3 levels of participation: Developmental Team, Pre-Team and Competition Team. The season runs from the end of May through the first week of August.
Founded in 1985, the objective and primary purpose of the Larchmont Swim Team is the education, instruction and training of children and teenagers to develop and improve their capabilities in the sport of swimming. We advocate the growth and development of the children through instruction, training and competition, with a commitment to excellence.
The Larchmont Swim Team promotes swimming in an environment that provides safe training and competition for the children with diverse level of abilities. We believe in a positive supporting environment, providing both fun and focused physical training, in a safe and healthy atmosphere.
The Larchmont Barracudas were crowned Suburban League Champions in 2006, 2008, 2009 and 2010, going undefeated in each of those seasons.
